To protect professionals from harmful radiation and to prevent distortion of measurements, image qualities or damaging surrounding electronic equipment, the pulsed electromagnetic field which is emitted by these machines the therapy rooms require excellent multi-functional Faraday cages. The pulsed electromagnetic fields can cause problems in a wide area up to 20 meters from the device!

The pulsed electromagnetic fields emitted by the PEME/PSWT machines will damage or disturb surrounding electronic equipment. There are many devices that produce electromagnetic fields for electromagnetic therapy, one of these other therapies is radiofrequency ablation. The pulsed electromagnetic radiation which is emitted will heat cells (hyperthermia) and can shrink or destroy cancer cells.

Maximum admissible intensity

The level of the maximum admissible intensity values (MAI) of EMF (Electromagnetic fields) in the working environment established by law requires monitoring of these levels to ensure appropriate protection against their harmful effects in physiotherapy rooms. In these workplaces there is a need to use different forms of shielding, including individual textile RF protection clothing during the work with short-wave diathermy. Certain textiles carry away static charges from clothing or equipment (as often used in the semiconductor industry). Electrically conductive textiles made from fibers differ from each other in electric properties and can therefore offer shielding solutions for many different applications. Pulsed Electromagnetic Energy (PEME) / Pulsed Shortwave Therapy (PSWT). The pulsed electromagnetic field emitted by these machines, will damage or disturb surrounding electronic equipment. There are many devices that produce electromagnetic fields for electromagnetic therapy, one of them is Hyperthermia . The pulsed electromagnetic field which is emitted will be transmitted through the tissues, and will be absorbed in those of low impedance i.e. the conductors which are tissues like muscle, nerve, those which are highly vascular, tissues in which there is oedema, effusion or recent haematoma. Typical fields of use are electromagnetic physiotherapy, sports medicine, traumatology, geriatrics, aesthetic medicine, phlebology, hyperthermia and post-surgical therapy. The devices operate in several frequency ranges e.g. at 27.12MHz 150-1000 W.
